About Us
Impala DMC - Great Tanzania Tour Operator
Impala DMC is a licensed tour operator by Tanzania’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism and a proud member of the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) and Tanzania Local Tour Operators (TLTO). Incorporated in Tanzania, we are more than just a tour operator – we care, share, and grow with our customers, partners, and local communities. Our mission is to inspire and empower travellers to explore and experience the wonders of Tanzania, including its beauty, authenticity, and hidden treasures.
Our founder, Michelle Mrema, is the driving force behind Impala DMC. Her vision and passion for showcasing the beauty and authenticity of Tanzania inspire us to strive to rise and race to be the leading safari destination management company in East Africa. We work tirelessly to unlock the hidden gems of authentic Tanzania, provide unparalleled services that exceed expectations, and set new standards in the safari industry.
Michelle’s decision to start the company in Arusha was a natural one, given her deep love and respect for the African savannah and its people. She wanted to create unforgettable experiences that would honour the region’s unparalleled beauty and unique culture. Arusha, with its stunning landscapes and diverse communities, provided the perfect backdrop for her vision and spread it over the whole country and the region.

We strive to positively impact the tour industry by consistently going the extra mile to ensure every customer is thrilled before departing Tanzania and, for domestic travellers, before returning home. Our passion for sustainable tourism has allowed us to create unforgettable experiences while making a difference in the communities and environments we visit. Our efforts to make a difference in the tour industry will set us apart as leaders in the field. At Impala DMC, we take pride in our commitment to excellence, and our goal is to ignite the explorer in every traveller.

What Our Clients Are Saying
Ensuring Your Satisfaction!
Hanspeter Kaufmann
As a tour operator, bringing groups on safari in Tanzania for more than 30 years, I finally found the best company for both delux and camping safaris - thanks Impala DMC for your outstanding service!
Mariam Wahbi Hernandez
We had an amazing safari in Tarangire with Impala DMC. The driver was knowledgable of the terrain, animals, and park history. It was our second time on safari there but with Impala DMC it was so much better, we got to see so many more animals including tons of baby elephants and many more parts of the park we hadn’t seen before.
Ajay Aggarwal
We booked our safari with Impala DMC and we surprised at the true quality and professionalism of the staff especially our driver/guide James who had answers for all our questions and knew the Ngorongoro National Park like the back of his hand.
